NCRI Women's Day Conference

Paris, France. Frmr PM Campbell was a featured speaker at a conference on the occasion of International Women's Day. Speakers from all over the world came together with a "special focus on the plight of women in Iran under religious fundamentalist rule." The event was organized by several human rights and humanitarian organizations with particular concern for the rights of women.

In her speech Ms. Campbell warned against the fact that "religious fundamentalism is always based on the repression of women" and that "Society cannot be half free... societies need women as political leaders."
