Participants included other foreign leaders, such as former Singaporean Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong and former Malaysian prime minister Mahathir bin Mohamad, as well as world-renowned academics such as Francis Fukayama and Nobel Laureate Dr. Alan Heeger. The closing address was delivered by Prime Minister Han Seung-soo.
